Vitamin C aids in the absorption of iron and forms collagen an important component of hair structure. Vitamin C can be found in strawberries, citrus fruits, and bell peppers.
Vitamin D is known to help in the production of hair. Research links alopecia to low levels of vitamin D. Direct sun rays at the right level and fortified foods are great sources of Vitamin D.
Vitamin E is directly linked to hair growth and prevents oxidative stress. Almond, avocado, and sunflower seeds are rich in vitamin E.
