20 Foods to Calm Anxiety

In going down the road of healing from anxiety I've figured out so much about myself and how everything around me effects my anxiety. 

My environment was a big factor.

Bigger factor than I knew but when I started changing one thing after another started changing. 

Sleep is another deciding factor, but more important than any of those things is my diet. 

When I stopped eating inflammatory foods. 

I stopped eating foods with meat products in them and that helped do so many things to improve my well being.

  1. Strawberries-
  2. Chammomile-
  3. Pumpkin Seeds
  4. Dark Chocolate
  5. Tumeric
  6. Water
  7. Bananas
  8. Walnuts
  9. Whole Grains
  10. Foods High in Vitamin C
  11. Tart Cherries


So I know these are a lot of different foods but there are also some things that I want you to stay away from

  1. Caffeine
  2. Alcohol
  3. Excessive Refined Sugars
  4. White Flour
  5. Inflammatory Foods 
  6. Dairy



To really rev up your healing from anxiety try these different things

  2. Deep Breathing
  3. Yoga
  4. Sleep
